Neighbours Day

On 27 May 2008, over 50 housing associations and their tenants celebrated Neighbours’ Day in style and threw parties across the country.

If you took part in Neighbours' Day, please let us know how it went by taking part in this short survey before 16 July.  And if you are a housing association, you can submit your story for inclusion on this website.

Neighbours' Day 2008

In Manchester, the London Borough of Camden and in Liverpool, European Capital of Culture, housing associations linked up with their local councils to make the celebration even bigger and reach out to the entire community.

Neighbours' Day originated in France and was recently endorsed by the European Commission as an event which promotes cultural dialogue and community cohesion.
